You paid a 1% fee.
The prism shows
where it went.
Every buy pays a fee. Prism Fee passes it through glass, and it comes out in seven colours, one for every wallet that actually got paid. You are the last colour. It is very thin.
A $500 buy paid $5.00 in fees. $1.55 of it bought the dev a coffee.
You got $0.00. The prism checked twice.
Refracted at 00:00 UTC · $FEE is launching on Solana
The fee spectrum
One white beam of fees goes in. Seven rays come out, sorted by wavelength. Red bends least and gets the most. White is you, and white does not bend at all: it goes straight through and lands on zero.
| Ray | What it pays for | Share | Of $5.00 |
|---|
Shares are read from where the fee went, not from where the whitepaper said it would go. Full method in the docs.
Every buy, refracted
This is a stream of buys on a typical coin, each one split as it lands. Watch the coffee line grow. Watch the white line not grow.
What the prism promises
Prism Fee does not take a fee. The fee was already taken. The prism only shows you where it went, in colour, so you can finally see it.
Nothing is charged
The prism reads trades that already happened. It never touches a wallet, never asks for a signature and never adds a fee of its own. That would be ironic.
Every wallet labelled
Each ray ends at a wallet with a name on it. If a wallet calls itself “marketing”, the prism writes “marketing” in quotes, as a courtesy.
You are always shown
The last ray is you. It is drawn on every chart and in every receipt, at its real size, so you never have to wonder whether it is there. It is.
Priced in coffees
The red ray is converted into oat flat whites at $4.90 each. It is the only unit in crypto that has never once gone down.
Gone, as advertised
The violet ray goes to the burn address and is gone. It is the one line item that did exactly what it said it would.
The honest blue
The blue ray pays validators who produced the block. Of all seven, it is the only one that did any work for its share.
How it works
Four steps from a buy to a rainbow. None of them changes where the money went. They only change whether you can see it.
The buy
Someone buys. The coin takes 1% on the way in. Until now, that 1% went somewhere quietly.
The beam
Prism Fee reads the fee as one white beam: a single number with no colour and no story.
The glass
The beam enters the prism and splits by destination. Each recipient wallet is its own wavelength.
The spectrum
Seven rays leave the glass with names and amounts. The white one lands on you, and the amount is zero.
Hold $FEE and the white line gets your name
Holding $FEE does not change the split. Nothing changes the split. It does put your wallet name on the white ray, in bold, next to the zero, so at least it is personal.
Common questions
Does Prism Fee take a fee?
No. It reads fees that were already taken and splits them into colours. A fee on a fee tracker would be too much, even for this market.
Why is the coffee ray so wide?
Because it is where the most money goes. The prism draws each ray at its real share, and the dev drinks a lot of coffee.
Why do I get 0.0%?
Because that is what you get. The white ray is drawn honestly. It is the thinnest line in the spectrum, and it is yours.
Is “marketing” really marketing?
It is a wallet that calls itself marketing. The prism keeps the quotes. What happens after the quotes is outside the glass.
What does $FEE do?
Hold it and your name appears on the white ray. It does not change your share, which stays exactly where it was. Some things are not up to the prism.
Is the feed live?
The feed is a simulation at typical sizes, not a live coin. The split is the same one the docs describe, and the white line is always accurate.
See where it went
The fee was always split seven ways. Now it is split seven ways in colour.
